The biggest benefit for working for this company is it provides a good benefits package and the people who work here are friendly. Work is typically independent without fear of helicopter management.

Cons

They do not use modern best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software. The programming languages are proprietary, yet are poorly optimized for current customer needs. The tools used to develop and maintain the codebase are outdated and restrict efficiency. The company does not pay those who actually develop and maintain their code-base enough to reflect their outsized level of responsibility within the company, yet has the money for an army of middle managers.
