Pros

You become really close with your coworkers. Fellow recruiters and sales teams because you are with them more then you are home. Lots of happy hours, team bonding and goofing off in the office. Not a quiet office which I prefer. Philanthropy is huge for this company which I enjoyed.

Cons

If you are a female - run! This is a boys club. And if you are planning on getting pregnant - run! Clear favoritism to male employees and male leadership. Seen several pregnant women be treated differently, including myself - pushed harder then normal, micro-managed when never managed this way previously. High stress environment and long hours.

Disorganized!

Pros

I was placed in a permanent position following my contract. They reached out to me on LinkedIn and in 6 months I was promoted in the company and was able leave Medix.

Cons

The hiring process was completely unorganized. I received calls several times a day while at a previous job asking for information and paperwork I had already explained would be uploaded/filled out later that day. They also lied to me, saying a drug test was required by the company but upon getting promoted a drug test was not required again, because the company does not require them. The benefits are awful, you earn 1 day off after working for 3 months straight and even after that it takes a month to earn another day off. The health insurance is ok, but the company failed to send me all my tax forms at the end of the year. They also never provided me a state tax form so state tax didn’t come out of my paycheck and I owed it all at the end of the year. When I tried speaking with someone they promised a follow up call that never came. Honestly, I would rather be without a job than be employed through this company again. Unprofessional and disorganized overall.
