Pros

Great opportunity for recent graduates to get some working experience. Young atmosphere.

Cons

Heavy focus on metrics and not on quality relationships with candidates. Commission rates leave no incentive for recruiters, managers talk about opportunity for growth and it is not attainable. Poor training program.

Pros

Good training program for sales

Cons

Not a flexible work environment. People with poor management skills are allowed to stay in that position so long as they continue to produce in terms of sales. Horrible work hours. Extremely high turnover of employees.

Pros

There are alot of good things to say in a company that thrives on and grows young professionals. The people who you will work with become very close, and you learn how to function in a high energy office environment.

Cons

People who post good reviews say things here like "the hours can be a bit hectic" or "if you're not willing to work hard then this isnt the job for you." False. Hectic implies that you are full of frantic activity. This was not always the case. Working hard does not necessarily imply that you have to work long, but that is what you will do. 7:30am to 6:30pm. Add a 35+ minute commute to get out to Lombard (the concrete jungle) and you have a 12 hour + work day every day. Even though technically its 9-5, the long hours are expected of you to prove you want to work there. Even when towards the 5pm mark everything Slowwwwwws down and you are literally ticking the seconds before its not frowned on to leave. And then you have to show you REALLY care by occasional weekends. It didn't help the psychological morale that the environment you work in si called "the Pit." Do you know what else is called "the Pit?" Hell. Hell is a pit. I've read they instated a leave early twice a week to work out option, which mercy me would have been a lifesaver back when I started. Ultimately, I wanted to tear off my own face. Obviously not the right fit for me. At 32k a year, it wasn't a difficult separation. There were some people who this is a good fit for, which for the love of me made me feel kind of insane, but good luck to them. There is a slippery slope here with the age of the people working. You could only really pull this kind of stuff on bright eyed and bushy tailed recent grads, but then they do train you well in the art of business and they tolerate everyone binge drinking after work. So hey! Need a job and only a job for your life to be meaningful?
