Pros
The company is privately owned and it's core business is health care distribution, so there is a lot of job security. Compensation and benefits are good, though a large percentage of most compensation packages are in bonus money. There are few layers of management, so top-level managers know almost everyone at HQ and your career can advance very quickly if you deliver results.
Cons
There is no work-life balance. They are very strict on work hours, and there is no flexibility for child care or recurring medical appointments. Senior management lacks diversity, and there is no indication of any desire to change that. Being family-owned, there is a lot of nepotism, and an "old boys club" feeling that borders on hostility to women and people of color.
