Politics, if you are ready to butter and have sweet words with manager you will get promotion good salary , managers themselves doesn’t have technical knowledge , even architects are just for full day break company had hired for 😅 , if you are working hard then manager will make false promises to you like you will be promoted you will get good increment but they are just like words from politicians never going to be happen they will give you awards for just showing up they cares but not really they do. Yes do you have good technical skill ? So this is not a good place for you they just keeps the people with dumb technical knowledge and they promotes them only even the most senior person in office just reads the newspaper entire day on internet instead of visual Studio here they just makes there life safe and you can’t stop this even you speak truth your manager will come with any reason ( they will find out even doesn’t exist ) and tell this is the wrong that is wrong so we can not do this and that for you.
