Pros

Paid every Thursday . Nothing else

Cons

I worked at meijers before they opened in Greenfield. It started ok. But as soon as the store opened, it was a disaster. A lot of time people including mines, hours was cut. Rude and unsupportative management....

Pros

There really is not anything good to say

Cons

Terrible training, pay would be good if you weren't overworked, there is definitely favoritism, if you have any hr questions good luck getting any answers you just go around in circles.

Pros

Flexible schedule , pay , incentives , growing company. I enjoyed my time working here only because the hourly associates helped share the burden of daily expectations when their counter parts on other shifts weren't doing their required tasks. Good TEAM effort when needed but everyone would have to be asked to work as a team when it mattered.

Cons

If you want to work somewhere where all of upper management is completely dependent on their employees to handle all problems/opportunities this is for you. The management staff doesn't listen to team leaders or employees. The people doing the work are often held accountable for the lack of work done by others. You are told 4 different ways to do the same job and each way is different. Absolutely zero accountability unless you do your job, then you are held accountable for issues created by people who don't do theirs. Management staff is not self-dependent , the management team I worked with barely knew how to do entry level requirements for hourly employees. More policies and meeting reports then one could even comprehend. Corporate staff won't help resolve problems and if they do its 3 days too late. I reached out to corporate and my regional supervisor for direction and neither replied to my request , my issue went on without no one reaching out to help me resolve it. Team leaders feel they are just their to take the blame for problems because Line Leaders can't handle what their supposed too. Did I mention zero support from managers/supervisors. Expectations are not attainable with the structure of operations at store level.
