Pros

After only 2 days of training, I was asked by my boss if I was ready to go it alone. I am already their main baker. I'm also being trained in other parts of the department. I believe my boss thinks I am capable to being promoted.

Cons

It is only part time and minimum wage. Must report to the department leader if you punch out 1 minute past scheduled time. It could be considered overtime and the possibility of being written up is a constant threat to have points added.

Pros

Being full time I get great hours, work with some cool people

Cons

No advancement, topped out after after working 6 years so pay won't get much higher anymore, management isn't the greatest, not enough help when busy so customers get angry, get written up if a minute late on breaks and 1 min 59 secs late punching in for your shift. Part timers hours fluctuate horribly and days off often not together, some get maybe one day off a week and work 4 hour shifts each day.
