Pros

Co-workers are friendly and easy to work with. If you work in a department you like and you are lucky enough to have managers that respect you and listen to what you need from an employer, the job is tolerable. The work, however, is tedius and will drive you crazy in the long run.

Cons

Low wages, expectations too high. Management expects long hours of extremely fast paced work to be conducted with a giant painted smile on your face to ensure customers that you love working for the store they are shopping in. The reality remains that you can't wait to clock out at the emd of the day and desperately want another job, but they are just not available in these times.

Pros

I think the only best reason is if you work in a department you enjoy. After a while, you'll get drained though.

Cons

You can never take a vacation. Never EVER request days off between oct-dect. I had this job during college and sure, it's great for a college kid but $7/hr won't pay the mortgage. Meijer is extremely greedy when it comes to money.

Pros

communication between employer and employee

Cons

wages and work hours are need to be improved if they want the employer to be satisfied because the employee wages start at $6.50 and with the economy the way it is today it is going to be hard for anyone to make a living off such a ppor salary so would advise that if you plan on working at meijer it should be for spare change only because you can not seriously expect to make a reasonable living working there and paying bills or what not because it is just not possible, So it is advised to work their part time or full time if and only if you have some other source of income you will be receiving while working there.
