Pros

Great work environment, The pay isn't amazing, but with the other benefits offered, it really evens out.

Cons

It's a call center job, so it can be a little mundane at times and the pay is just okay.

Pros

Great benefits, stable company, competitive pay for mid- to upper-management, great work environment, great area for outdoor enthusiasts.

Cons

Frequent late-nights and a lot of employees are overloaded with work projects, which often results in sacrificing quality for just getting on to the next project.

Great place to start a career

Pros

Melaleuca is a great place to get experience, especially starting out in your career. There are exciting things going on associated with company growth. The company is relatively small, so in your position you may have the chance to do some impactful projects. People at Melaleuca are generally good to work with and in addition to good basic benefits there are some nice perks like a fitness center and quality products for free.

Cons

Most projects require lots of approvals, leading to slow change, last minute stress, and lower level managers and employees not feeling like they are trusted. At times it can seem that Melaleuca doesn't do anything that isn't last minute. Overall, salaries should be higher in my opinion, even though management will tell you that the low cost of living in Idaho makes it ok. I noted a palpable divide between salaried employees and hourly employees, almost like there were two companies. Upper management is not consistent in what they say they will do. Marketing Executives building a Melaleuca business are the most important stakeholder for upper management, so the departments working most closely with the Marketing Executives are the departments that get attention and seem to be the favored employees and place to work.
