Rewarding work and career

Pros

Melaleuca has been a place where I have received as much as I have given. I've been put into positions where I could grow and develop and was then rewarded based off of my results. I love the mission statement of "enhancing lives" and it gives real purpose to what I do every day. I also love working for a multi-billion dollar global company but living in small town Idaho. The quality of the people I work with are second to none and I really appreciate the work life balance.

Cons

The pace can be fast, and you have to be flexible. If you don't like being held accountable and don't like being "given the ball" then this might not be the place for you. Melaleuca expects a lot from their employees and there are times when sacrifices have to be made.

Pros

Awesome benefits, fun company (family BBQ, Christmas party, team parties, Halloween fun for families), they encourage recognition and it shows( STAR performer, recognition gift cards and the good old fashion "Thank you")! They are very family oriented. I feel supported by my managers and HR. I work hard and I feel like they notice. The longevity bonus is really awesome, how cool is it that Melaleuca wants you to stay with them for 20 years, if you are a hard worker, they will move you up. I love it! This business outlook makes me feel like I'm in control of my career. I've received great feedback, opportunities to grow and learn, one on one guidance, and overall good communication from co-workers, managers and upper level chains of command.

Cons

I do wish the starting pay was higher, but if you look at it in a long term plan with the bonuses and benefits, I know it's the right fit for me.

Great Employment & Benefits

Pros

I've been working with Melaleuca for almost 10 years. This has been a great company to work for. You do have room to grow your career within the company. They are truly a family oriented employer. They have great benefits( 401k, great insurance,$90 product checks every month, and longevity bonuses. With many events through out the year. - summer picnics & Christmas party for you and the family -4th of July fireworks - softball & golf tournaments -With occasional BYU and NBA (Utah Jazz) tickets. Melaleuca does a great deal for the community as well as helping out with National and world wide tragedies. I enjoy working for a company that cares for their customers and their employees as much as they do. If your looking for a fast pace work environment with room to grow your career, this is a great place to start!

Cons

There are a lot of dead lines that need to happen and often times when needed, you don't get much notice when your required to work 10 hour days.
