Pros

The perks are good - weekly massages, happy hours, company outings are great. Plenty of schedule flexibility and work from home opportunities.

Cons

Despite all the potential and breadth of talent, this company can't seem to get it's feet under it, due not in small part to the constant turnover at all levels of the organization and utterly toxic work culture that has been created here. This is anything but a team environment. Finger pointing across departments is a regular occurrence and communication across those departments is absolutely abysmal (which is stunning for a company of barely 70 people). Expectations of the failure of teams is regularly expressed by certain members of the senior leadership team. Despite all the promises of change, the senior leadership team is not all that different from a year ago. They still cloister themselves in half-day-plus meetings every other week and exit with the impression that they have all the answers and are prepared to make commitments on behalf of the people who have to execute them. On the rare occasion the opinions and ideas of their employees are solicited, the SLT will immediately turn around and promise something at least two steps further to the customer. High turnover is habitually normalized as an inherent part the "startup" culture by proclaiming that those who choose to leave or are unceremoniously dismissed "just can't hang" in that kind of environment. And that gets to the core of the issues here. Despite claiming that you won't be "just another cog in the wheel," you are. Ambition and ideas are not rewarded here. You are expected to take your marching orders and fall in line, or else be kicked aside for the next "resource" to come in. All in all, yf you're in the software development industry, Atlanta is booming for you right now and you can do much, much better.

Pros

I first came to MemberSuite straight out of college, working in a diner kitchen. I was hired as a support rep and was given a tremendous amount of responsibility. Through a ton of hard work I was able to move up in the company in a very short time to end up as a Product Manager. Throughout my time here, I have been able to sample just about every job you can do at a software company and was able to find where my true passion lies. For a recent grad, you couldn't really ask for a better first job. While it was a lot of hard work and long hours, the company is really great at recognizing effort and the desire to advance. MemberSuite is a wonderful example of "you get what you put into it". At times, the stress and workload can get to you, but if you keep your head down and power through it you will be rewarded in the long term. Overall this has been a great "startup" experience for me. Pros - Great opportunity for career advancement - Lots of opportunity for self-autonomy in your job (if you are smart, you are pretty much left to your own devices with guidance here and there) - Management listens to employees about process improvement and new product ideas - Good pay - The team is great. There are a lot of really smart folks working here and all of them like to win

Cons

With great power comes great responsibility. Because the company does have a lot of faith in its employees, the workload can get a little crazy at times. Cons - Depending on the department, you may need to work longer hours - Customers (some of them can be a pain the butt) - Work/life balance can be tough to manage

Pros

The CEO, CTO and COO are fast paced. They are smart, modern thinkers with big dreams. The company is growing quickly and there is a lot of room to move up in your career. They will promote from within. Excellent product filling a hole in the AMS market. Modern software. Excellent health benefits considering the state of our country right now. They pay 80% Relaxed dress code, a lot of snacks, food and drinks for free, massages at work, unlimited/untracked PTO, relaxed work from home policy. Parking at the office is easy, free and safe because it's close to the Dunwoody Police dept. This is 1 of only 3 employers in my past 5 jobs that have treated me ethically for commissions. They have done what they said they would do, and more. Received regular salary raises and a healthy commission plan. They have an anonymous suggestion box that goes to the CEO. He reads your anonymous comment/suggestion at team meetings and answers it, no matter how difficult the question. He is totally transparent in his actions and plans for the future of the company. He is also well known in the industry for his open and honest "CEO Letter" at the start of each year. Consistent in-bound lead flow and effective outbound lead campaigns. Excellent marketing team. Young team with a very diverse culture. Lot's of time to play together. EEO- We have people from all walks of life, all races and all feel welcome here. No cliques!

Cons

Extremely fast paced. If you can't multi-task, do not work here. Change is frequent so if you don't like change or it makes you uncomfortable, do not work here. Deadlines are tight and short, if you can't move fast, do not work here. Changes in HR caused my original paperwork to be lost and filled out again. I don't like the idea that my personal information is floating around out there. Commission bonus is hard to reach Office space is tight
