Pros

The medical school has good reputation. The organization is very engaged in community service

Cons

New leadership in the Information Technology is a liability to the organization. IT leadership is not performing according to organization values.There is low morale and a constant fear of being terminated without cause. There is lots of hiring in the IT department to backfill persons who leave or who are fired.

starting salary 17.50-18.00 do not expect raises frequently raise after 4 years brought me up to 18.00 understaffed management will not support staff

Pros

Location is nice. Team members are awesome when allowed to work well together.

Cons

Micromanaging to a point that it's comedic. They have systematically pushed out middle management and replaced with "consultants" that micromanage every detail - down to how to answer emails and who on the teams we can talk to. It makes completing projects virtually impossible. The Epic teams are a revolving door and management does not take any of the exit interview feedback to heart. Pay is lower end of the scale and the company has a weird way of accumulating PTO. Some holidays are included, some are "recommended" as days off but require you to take your own PTO for them.
