Pros
They offer lots of classes and programs to broaden your skill set and change specialties. Several reimbursement programs for further education and certification.
Cons
The corporate team is mostly non medical or had limited medical background so the hospital is handled more as a hospitality service than a hospital. They often come up with extra customer service steps that take away from the beside management of a the patients. Also compensation for the charge position is subpar due to it not being a listed position. Few bonuses and any additional compensation is through programs, not added benefits for certification, or advance degrees if obtained during employment.
