Lack of staffing. Asked to stay late regularly because management runs the procedural area late so sometimes people are discharging at 2 am - 3 am in the morning which results in a late day of 17 hour shifts. Nurses on receiving units not willing to take report, resulting in 3 -5 phone calls to give report to somebody so we can move the patient back to a unit. Even charge nurses refusing report.
