Forced workforce to join the labor pool to address their staffing issues. My unit was always dangerously understaffed and constantly out of essential items for patient care ‘due to the supply chain issues’ when they just didn’t order appropriately. The pay is easily 5-6 dollars below market rate for techs, and the nurses are also underpaid for market value. Toxic management is not handled appropriately.
MMHS and David Callender do not care about staff safety at all. We were/are all completely expendable. He got a nice bonus this year though and so did my manager so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but none of that matters when this hospital is hemorrhaging staff.
