      Coworkers who care about each other and patients. Excellent healthcare provided by hospitals. Extremely proud of our lifeflight program

      Department management-no outside seminars to attend to continue education; blocked by department director to promote within system

      Pros

      In the end, the work you're doing ultimately helps people live better lives, so you're happy about the job you're doing and your contribution to society in general.

      Cons

      The inefficiencies of the workplace however make it difficult to get things done in a timely manner unless they're of critical importance. This is partly due to Memorial Hermann's operations, but also because of its affiliations with the surrounding institutions.

      Pros

      Large company with ok benefits. They no longer pay you to go to school.

      Cons

      If you answer the employee satisfaction surveys with low satisfaction, your department or you get in trouble. So employee satisfaction is not a true reflection of how the employees feel. The management is short sided, looks for the most money the fastest way and will do anything to get their way with out regard for another person's well being. It's not what you know at Memorial Hermann it's who you know.
