Pros

Free lunches and perhaps some incentives.

Cons

Not enough vacation or PTO, due to the number of times having to flex. Not enough time off for holidays. Staff that really commit themselves to this hospital, are the first to go, after putting in so many years of service. The ones not so committed and perform poorly, absent or tardy often, get to stay on board. Explain that?

Pros

PTO, paid education, encourage staff to be involved in planning changes within the unit, our voice is heard.

Cons

No weekend differential, little opportunity to work in-house registry (which really means they staff well, not necessarily a bad thing)
