The Opportunities to lateral into different positions is massive, and there are many more doors that will open themselves up to you, as you get to refine what you want to do in healthcare. MemorialCare appreciates their employees, and they will go out of their way to show it.
Cons
As with anyplace of work, there are politics. As with most healthcare related jobs, people do not seem to want to retire, especially when it is a good environment to work in; this may make it a little bit more difficult if you are wanting to work your way up the ladder quickly.
