Pros

Easy interview, comradery, pingpong table.

Cons

This company is not the best place to start out your career in tech sales period. The pay is abysmal, the management is startlingly to that of fraternity/sorority leadership. Hitting quota is often not very attainable and when you look at it objectively, is not even worth the bonus. Which at most result in a monthly increase of $180 gross... I routinely heard one of the recruiters tell non seekers that people are making around $70k a year after bonuses which is absolutely a bald faced lie. I knew people who hit quota 12 times and made no where close to that. Now one of the five paths is to go internal and work for MB, which I thought would protect you from the incredibly rigid metrics. However, they make you sign a 2 YEAR contract and non compete. I also first hand witnessed managment fire an employee with absolutely no cause. Because it's run like a frat house there is no HR and as long as you're hitting quota you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT no matter how vial, unprofessional, or just unethical it is and trust me people do! Also that $5K "training fee" is complete nonsense and they make people pay it if they don't like then and the ones that they do, they let it slide and make you not tell anyone about it. Also if they find out that you're looking for other jobs they will try to intimidate you/or terminate you immediately. The culture there also promotes a lot of backstabbing and gossip so SDR's will inform on people who they think are not "loyal".

Pros

Culture is absolutely fantastic. I made more than a handful of life long friends here. Network expansion was phenomenal. I now have around 50 contacts across multiple industries and verticals in tech. No other company could offer the network that MB does. I will never have to look for a job again because of this place. A lot of the Cons I've seen on here I actually view as positives. Success is based on the client you got? Well that's a good thing, you now know what you want to avoid in your next role and you've probably been put in a situation that has done nothing but better yourself as a salesperson. Don't worry about making an extra 5k at MB, worry about making an extra 100k down the road. Finally the training you get is one of the best in the entire industry. You are literally surrounded by sales people. Everyone you talk with has a wealth of information to offer. Work here for 3 months and you will be running laps around 80% of the SDRs out there.

Cons

Not much. My salary as an SDR was good. As a manager it was a bit on the light side. Like I side though, worry about how much you make a couple years from now, not when you're just starting your career.

Pros

If you think high tech sales is a field you want to be in then this is the space you want to be in. Right now they are going through an amazing time of growth and transformation. Great leadership, a caring and supporting community of co-workers, and a great sales training program. Cofounders demonstrate the utmost transparency with everyone in the company, and are easily accessible to speak with. Sales training is top notch, this company truly does invest in their employees and equip you with necessary skills and tools to both succeed and excel in sales . Culture here really brings out a family atmosphere as there is always something fun going on. The extensive alumni network truly does set up employees after the leave the company with really an unlimited supply of resources to continue to ascend. I have realized this company really helped me grow and prepared tremendously in the tech sales space.

Cons

As a rep although you will be prepared for the SDR role you do not have a choice in what client will be assigned to you. Also pay could be a little better.
