Pros
Working as an intake caseworker was definitely stressful at times. I was there during the pandemic so we had a ton of referrals due to a lot of families needing social services. While overwhelming at times, I gained great case management experience.
Cons
Large case loads. The pay was not great, but its pretty much what you would expect to be paid from a non-profit starting out with a BSW.
