Absolutely loved the students and the majority of my coworkers Good carryover and collaboration with teachers Great Hours, flexible schedule as fee for service employee

Cons

*out of compliance IEPS *no benefits with a Master’s degree *no paid time off *left high and dry during Covid without pay while the teachers and directors still got paid. *director would say he did things or followed up on things related to therapy, but did not. *little training, thrown in *not safe *get assaulted by students (no fault of theirs) and nobody cares or bats an eye. *strange work culture. People are fired constantly. People report each other constantly

Cons

Management, certain lazy staff, too much paperwork, parents breathing down your neck. Some of the houses are not state worthy and they hide if from them. Not enough training, poor communication.
