Pros

The culture and the people at Meraki at top notch. Tons of perks: lunches, snacks, gym, happy hours, let you bring your dog into the office Smart leadership - while I may not have understood decisions they always turned out to be in everyone's best interest

Cons

The culture is being overtaken by Cisco, slowly but surely. This could be a pro to some people, Cisco is also a great place to work.

Pros

Meraki sales team has a fairly positive morale. Unlike many sales jobs I've had, I look forward to going to work every day. There is a lot of opportunity to move up. The fast growth makes it exciting and opens a lot of doors for promotions. They tend to promote from within as well. Catered lunches daily. Benefits are fantastic. The office is beautiful.

Cons

The location of the office is convenient in Mission Bay, but there are not a lot of places to go for food/drink, unless you walk ~1 mile. Do-able, but not as convenient and fun as some places in the city.

Pros

The office is open and a family like environment in the mission rock area. The people are smart and driven, the products work well and business is growing every month. Lots of people getting promoted to managers, outside sales and channel sales. The sales goals are pretty fair with most people going over.

Cons

Several reps from the old Meraki have left recently. Some people get promoted and you wonder why they moved up. The food is great but sometimes you want to get out and go to lunch but there are not many choices in the area. Some of the Cisco politics are frustrating with Cisco sales teams not pushing the Meraki line.
