Pros

Very caring supervisor and manager, lots of creativity, dynamic work place, and people were fun to be around. Open communications and lots of constructive feedback on my work.

Cons

Location was difficult to get to; by public transportation it was 90 minutes from Philadelphia. If you want to live in the city, this will be difficult. However, the suburbs around the site itself are nice and quiet.

Pros

The people are great and easy to get along with. They are all very helpful. The culture at Merck is great. Employees are dedicated to their work but are also involved in other things outside of work.

Cons

Just my personal experience from an intern perspective, my project was not the most interesting. If I had a little more direction as what was expected of me the internship may have been better.

Pros

Good work environment and hours, excellent lab facilities, a nice summer intern program, and very smart people to work with.

Cons

Atmosphere isn't very social, the working site isn't in the most interesting location, and it's difficult to get around without a car.
