Pros

Merck is a great company to work for. The experience is what you make of it as far as taking the opportunities available to employees to learn and develop yourself professionally.

Cons

Right now there is a bit of ambiguity, change and shifts due to the merge with Schering-Plough. This is not necessarily a bad thing and was a good business decision on their part.
