      Pros

      This is a great company overall. Good pay and benefits. You will find lots of talented / experienced individuals at the site.

      Cons

      Beware of the big "inclusion" push. You are included if you think and act like the senior leadership team. If you do not fit the mold, inclusion ends. No place for new or innovative ideas. Under-qualified people appointed as managers and directors completely lost and creating a lot of hardship to direct reports. New projects are staffed with educated but rather unexperienced "engineers" who cause lots of errors, high amounts of scrap material and schedule delays shooting costs way above budget.

      Good work atmosphere, Friendly atmosphere, Providing services and guaranteed purity to a laboratory charged with maintaining high standards and a global reputation.Delivering quality and reliability to help an industry giant promote growth while continuing to raise the bar.

      Cons

      low salaries and slow advancement opportunity. Merck is a very ctthroat company they are always hiring and always firing i worked as a contractor in thi same planning position

      Good benefits package and a nice matching 401k plan. Salaries can be good depending on your situation in the company.

      Cons

      There is a potential for a freeze within the company that does not allow any movement for career advancement. Employees can get lost within the structure of the organization.
