Pros

Salary and benefits are good while they keep you.

Cons

Micro managers that don’t care about their employees. Everything is too metric oriented, not results oriented. Corporate boot lockers are retained. You are totally expendable.

Crushing place to work

Pros

Salary and benefits are comparable to other Pharma companies.

Cons

Senior management and HR, in particular, give lip service to employee engagement and development. Yes, they perform an annual employee survey. Followup on ACTUAL employee concerns is left to senior leaders who created the situation in the first place, and who have no clue on how to address real issues. Work/life balance is non-existent. Simple decisions, like moving employees with 20 yrs of experience, (and who perform jobs which require tight information security) into cubicle farms, might seem like a great idea if you're trying to squeeze budgets. Impact on employee morale and productivity, however, is underestimated.
