Pros
Inside claims position, stable environment with lots of tenured employees.
Cons
Very little opportunities for advancement-lots of tenured employees. Very low salary compared to industry standards. Very cheap on technology/tools for employees. High claims volume with unreasonable expectations given the short staffing and lack of tools in order to meet the basic job needs. Inconsistent management practices, too many variances within the same dept. If you change branches or make a lateral move, you have to re-learn how you do your job to adjust to your supervisor's style.
