      Pros

      Met too many hard working people that so concerned about his or her own job security were afraid of speak up and took a positive actions.

      Cons

      I am sure Mercury Systems culture & value good. Unfortunately, it will take a long time and major efforts to persuade/convince theses ex-Microsemi foksl to change

      This company is going nowhere fast...

      Pros

      Many smart and dedicated employees; interesting work.

      Cons

      Everything is the number one priority; there is never time to do things 'right' but there is always time to do it again; 60 hour work weeks and no raises in almost 4 years; lay-offs every quarter; Sales people are worshipped - everyone else ignored; horrible morale!

      Good company, challenges, lay-offs, skills not addressed

      Pros

      Very good place to work. There are a lot of technical challenges for engineers, people are nice to work with and have very good benefits. One of the best companies I have ever worked for. Management tries to listen. I thought I would be there for more than 2 years but that did not happen.

      Cons

      WARNING: 2 Lay-offs in 6 months. Makes you uneasy about your job. Internal Control Drawings are a mess. Company acts like a "Start-up". My Job title was never corrected. My new manager had never managed a Component Engineer before or knows the needed skill sets and issues. HUGE mistake laying off the only Component Engineer (Phoenix). Design Engineers can't do this job and fail at it. Management thinks they can do with out it. Could be setting up for a buy out or take-over. Not sure why they loose contracts.
