Fantastic company and now is the perfect time to be here
Pros
Rapidly growing: It is fun and motivating to be around so much success and enthusiasm. Rewarding: This company truly rewards and compensates employees for results. Great people: Some of the smartest, friendliest people I have ever worked with. Everyone embraces the company culture, and it is not just a poster on the wall. Now (2020) is the perfect time to be at Mercury. The company is successful and rapidly growing but has still not "grown up" (see Cons below). There is still a lot of fun to be had building the basic infrastructure and processes that will take the company to the multi-billion level. This is a unique company in so many ways. It takes some time to realize/appreciate this.
Cons
Rapidly growing: there are growing pains: missing processes and systems. We often talk about changing the engines on the jet as it is flying. This can be disconcerting to some who have come to rely on the mature processes of similarly-sized companies, but a thrill to those of us who like the challenge. Timing: (Not really a con for the company - more for me) I wish I had joined the company and caught the wave sooner!
