Pros

from my experience there is good opportunity for upward mobility, and at this point in time our growth shows success and job security.

Cons

There should be more work from home opportunity in general but now more than ever given impending corona virus outbreaks. But more so in the winter when weather conditions are worse, and more people are sick in general. I with that mercury would have a more pro self-defense stance integrated in their workplace violence and weapons policies. They state in an active shooter situation employees can defend themselves, but do not allow law abiding and license holding employees to conceal carry.

Mercury Systems Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback with Mercury. We take your comments seriously and know the importance and timeliness of these comments require our direct and immediate response. As a global company whose employees’ well-being is a top priority, Mercury continually follows information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the Coronavirus. Because our business requires a fair amount of employee travel, we have put a corporate plan in place to address health concerns and advise best practices, and we continue to monitor the latest developments and update our policy as needed. Because Law Enforcement and outside experts have recommended against creating armed response teams, we have implemented an active-shooter training program at select Mercury sites with plans to continue expanding the program. And because the most effective workplace violence prevention plan is one that is put in place long before trouble occurs, we also have an established workplace violence procedure. We know our employees need to understand what to do in an emergency and what Mercury’s response will be. We wholeheartedly believe in our company culture and values, which include a commitment to help and care for one another, and believe in the achievement of these ideals through teamwork, communication, and decisive execution.
