Pros

Its great for furthering education and they incentivize for shifts, so there's potential to make a lot more money than your typical 40 hour M-F job

Cons

It's a lot of work and a lot of patients to be responsible for with seemingly not enough hourly pay. Float pool was awesome, but specific departments just dont pay enough. Seems to make it difficult to keep staff and thus requires float pool to fill those shifts.

Cons

No support from leaders. Inconsistent messages from your managers. No flexibility if you have an emergency and need to leave early.
