Pros

The Landings of Kaukauna is a wonderful community. The residents are absolutely wonderful. Each person has their own character and uniqueness that make this community worth it. The facility is clean, the moods are bright (largely facilitated by the incredible Activities Director, Sophie), and the staff is greatly caring of each resident.

I have worked here at The Landings for almost 3 years now as a med tech/caregiver. I have more than enjoyed my time here, the residents are very friendly and never fail to make me smile. It’s a great place to work and feel welcomed, everyone acts as a family here. You can see how much the residents mean to our staff, and the other way around as well. We have become very close with our residents through lots of events and even one-on-one interactions. We have an amazing activities director who has brought good spirits and uplifting energy to this building! Bingo is a very popular event as well as our Elvis impersonator. I would highly recommend our facility to someone who is looking to get out and enjoy lots of activities and music. We are full of laughter and smiles and love to get the residents up and moving!

Cons

Sometimes care staff are responsible for helping with meals or activities, but this really isn’t an issue. We all work as a team here to get everything done :)

High turnover rate of staff especially nurses. Cannot seem to find certain staff that don't get fired Low pay, lack of insentives to work overtime
