Pros

Management has an open-door policy. You have opportunities to grow and pursue your passions within the company. The business plan has become more streamlined since I've been here, which I think will help us in this overly-competitive time in the cycle. Meritage is a leader in green construction, which gives me a sense that we are making a difference.

Cons

Departments can become compartmentalized to a certain degree. I believe a higher degree of collaboration between departments could help remove some inefficiencies while delivering a better overall experience to our customers. Some legacy procedures should be revisited to see if they still provide value or serve the intended purpose as originally conceived.
