Pros

The management seems to really care about their employees.

Cons

It feels like there is little room for advancement outside of member support. It is not a career I can see myself staying in for an extended period of time.

Generally a great place to work

Pros

Meritrust has excellent benefits, beyond the basics (health/dental). They take great care of employees and really listen to our members and employees when making decisions. Employees have a lot of fun together. Tons of vacation time-- and sabbaticals!

Cons

Senior leadership (VP level) is generally unqualified and inexperienced in their areas, except for 2-3, so it is undesirable to reach director or management level because ideas are sometimes stifled and overridden by decisions that make far less sense. Middle management is often frustrated.
