Pros

The tips and the nice customers not the mean and picky ones, no nights no weekends and no holidays work

Cons

Not enough mileage pay, picky customers , very tiring job , you will gain weight working here

Pros

Merry Maids does have a strong set of standards, and when performed correctly it is a good product to be a part of. Because of the national recognition, it's pretty easy to get customers, as long as you keep them wowed to have then invite you back.

Cons

Compensation is definitely very minimum. You are paid on a mixture of commission and hourly wage, as long as your average for the week meets the minimum hourly wage standards. This puts enormous pressure to crank out as much housecleaning as possible, as fast as possible. Pressure is added that this is a very "customer is always right" type of environment, so any mistakes the customer decides you make count against you no matter what the standards are.
