Work you to the bone. No respect for family

Pros

Slight higher pay in smaller cities

Cons

This company has no respect to family amd personal time at all. As an employee of a distant office, they took full advantage of the limited job openings and low local salary and keeps asking employee to work over 50 hours a week regularly. Lots and lots of night hours and weekend maintenance over the years and it has not got any better. Only central employees get promotion in spite of easier work load.

Pros

Benefits, equipment - that's about it

Cons

Terrible work/personal life balance, unhealthy amount of stress, terrible management, your concerns will be ignored and used against you.

Pros

Salary was competitive, work life balance is excellent.

Cons

Too much structure within the department, at times I felt that my ability to share my ideas was shot down. From what I can see, there appears to be limited growth unless you’re there for a while. Management is changing that with new people/leaders coming in but the environment still lingers. Culture is very old fashioned, outdated systems.
