Pros

The pay is unmatched and the education you receive by being around some of the world's smartest people is truly incredible. We get performance checked every ~6months which I like because it prevents coasting and rewards hard work imo.

Cons

It can be really stressful. It's impact based so everyone is always out to find impact or scope. If you are a higher level you need to find a high level scope. If your team doesn't have scope for you, you need to go find it elsewhere.
