Pros

People actually doing the work are incredibly smart and, on average, pretty nice. Most people I worked with want to do good work, diversify the business, mature the business and genuinely understand how each of our services work and can grow responsibly, including VR.

Cons

Bloated top down corporate culture full of useless legacy directors and VPs. Most of them are poor people managers who are also so far removed from the work or the customer needs. Poor strategic decision making straight from the top. Leadership not owning so many poor bets on VR. Year of efficiency is more like “year of land grabs”. Zuck is not the right mature leader to reorient the ship.

Pros

Probably some of the best benefits for any company in the world. Very smart co- workers. Can have interesting work and projects

Cons

Toxic performance culture creates incentives for employees to backstab each other. Very uncertain future of the company. For non-tech roles there is limited career growth and opportunity
