Pros

There “were” some good people who worked here, but management has pushed most of them out the door. The pay is comparable to most other hospitals in the area.

Cons

Poor management and favoritism. I have worked in the ER before and understand that this exists but its crazy on how bad it is here. The equal opportunity commission should audit this place and interview its employees. People who have worked here and years and have the skills to advance does not but only gets push out the door and others are just given the job without even applying for the position. Management has been caught saying they would rather run the whole department with travelers instead of staff. At least 60 percent are travelers 30 percent are band new with least 9 months of experience and the other 10 percent barely have ANY experience over 1 year and their feet is half way out the door already. Management do not care about retention or will they have your back when you need it. Within the last 6 months I have seen the mangers less then 5 times and thats me rounding up by 2 or 3 times. The environment is VERY hazardous. Nurses are attacked and verbally abuse and management does not even ask staff about the situation but try to sweep it under like nothing. I would NOT recommend this place for anyone except joint commission, equal opportunity commission, and OSHA.
