Thank you for your review. It sounds like your experience of management was not satisfying, and we're sorry to hear that. We focus a lot of attention on creating good employee-manager relationships, but we can always do more. And we will. Take care.

Pros

Holiday pay is the only pro to working in this department.

Cons

Unfair benefits for PRN status. Contribution to retirement is a requirement, but you have to work 750 hours per year for three years to be vested. I have been there three years but only have one year vested. No one can explain how those working hours are calculated, and I worked a lot and know I had to have met the minimum 750 hours per year. I called Fidelity as well as HR and got no help. I have worked under two directors and two managers and never got a clear answer on how collection bonuses work for PRN. When hired I was told we just had to meet a formula for PRN collections each month and would receive a bonus as long as the department goal was met. Then both directors changed the rules and basically PRN have no chance at receiving a collection bonus. The current director is the worst director I have ever had in my 13 years of working healthcare. He makes you feel worthless and treats employees like garbage and makes it clear you are replaceable. He is very demeaning in all of his emails. He has absolutely no listening skills. During staff meetings he interrupts everyone. Almost all of our department has left and full of new people due to the director's behavior, but nothing is done about it. Your opinion does not matter.
