All team members fully support each other and are willing to jump in for anything. Management is also supportive of team as well as patient goals. We have enough management, but are not micromanaged. Our talents are recognized and utilized. The BEST thing about working at Methodist Dallas is how friendly both staff and patients are to everyone you see. I've worked in places that mandate saying hello to people in the hall. That mandate would never be necessary at MDMC.

Cons

A private practice job would pay me a little more, but the sacrifice of the friendly and supportive culture isn't worth it to me.

Methodist Dallas raised me as a nurse!! It is a teaching Hospital and it's up to you to learn. Growth opportunities are plenty for the right candidate. The Emergency Department Team/Management has been very supportive. I have been recently promoted as a SANE Coordinator. It's been over 4 years and I appreciate it every day. Great team!!

One of the best place lo work. Like your own family. Been working for this hospital over 11 years.

Cons

Very expensive and bad insurance. Some doctors wont accept United health care insurance. Refuse most of medicine to fill.
