      Unethical leadership who care about it profit over patients and staff. Will overwork and underpay you. Lots of bad behavior tolerated while hardworking employees are overlooked.

      Pros

      Pretty good cafeteria with a staff discount. Excellent physicians and surgeons, and a top-tier cardiovascular hospital. It's huge, so there are designated lots with shuttles every 8-10 minutes.

      Cons

      There was a disturbing lack of accountability when unsafe assignments or staff were reported to management. I witnessed several staff abandon patients, techs disappearing off the floor for hours, and nothing was done. Very low pay compared to other companies. I was told I would be hired for a specific unit then they moved me to another unit. MEDITECH is the absolute worst EHR system I have ever worked with. No, I didn't remember that I have to press F9+Shift to pull up some additional documentation. HCA, you make so much money. Please invest in Epic. You will have much better patient outcomes.
