Knowledgeable and good management. Morale was pretty good for a lab. It was the best-paying hospital I have worked at so far.

Cons

The only thing I was unhappy with was the schedule.

Pay scale for Chaplains has not been adjusted for inflation in at least 15 years, paltry raises and once you reach the top of the pay scale you're stuck and have to leave to find better pay. Also, the system for moving from PRN to Part-time or Full Time doesn't exist, it depends on the whim of the VP of Pastoral Care. Schedule is also bad, only one staff chaplain, who has been there over 20 years, has a M-F 9-5 schedule. Everyone else works at least some part of the weekend, and often have irregular times. Also, Full time is considered 32 hours, and it's very rare to get a full 40 hours a week position.
