      Talk of results based but miss the mark

      Pros

      Hard working co-workers, Time off if you make it 10 years and get to management, Fun industry to work in.

      Cons

      To much relocation for promotions, Lip service to being a results orientated company, Profit sharing is all over the place and not at all what they said upon hiring, If the values are on the walls then watch out for the values

      Pros

      There are some fantastic things going on with product development and market positioning. Very leading edge and market upsetting - Metrie could easily be the #1 moulding and door brand in North America within two or three years.

      Cons

      Increasing focus on short-term targets, and grinding other employees to get your goals to the top of their list. Leadership says all the right words, but actions do not line up. Working now in IT, there are great plans for transitioning from "keeping the lights on" to "partnering with business" to transition from being a cost center to being a business enabler. Unfortunately, that takes money (a bigger budget). When asked point-blank, the truth is NO.

      Pros

      Good people, Great Industry, Industry Leader. You will have fun with this company but prepared to do more to earn your salary than you have ever had to.

      Cons

      No direction. Segmented goals that contradict each other. Your bonus is tied to this so very difficult to attain 100%
