Pros

Metro has been straight forward and honest. I have always felt that they treat their employees well. At the time I was hired, the pay offered was similar to what the market offered. Overall, a great company to work for.

Cons

Sometimes info about policy changes are slow to trickle down, but they have improved over the years.

Pros

Excellent training facilities and small family feel to a big company. The insurance can be waived for retired military with Tricare benefits and they will reimburse you $5000 per year for not using their insurance. Excellent maintenance facilities and competent crews and mechanics. I enjoyed my time with Metro quite a bit.

Cons

Still focused on the Pie Chart. Safety is very important in the culture and generally would not question pilots for turndown decisions. In busier programs, the focus is on keeping the customer happy versus keeping the pilots happy. This created a higher than average turnover rate.
