Great benefits since it is under NYC employee job benefits.

Cons

It can be pretty boring just sitting all day on phone with members.

Nepotism/Racism/Sexism

There are no pros to this company.

Cons

There are many unqualified people working in senior level in the company. There are staff members that don't have a college degree and work in a senior level positions. Promotion is not based on merit. There is very little representation of minorities other than African Americans within the company and very high nepotism throughout a city sponsored government company. The company is also corrupt through its core with internal sex scandals. There is also no electronic time docking system, so employees who have the appropriate connections do not show up to work or leave early.

Pros

Great benefits with union and salary if you're one of the lucky few to have a good salary position.

Cons

No cohesion between management and staff. Field workers are stressed to make goal. Pay extremely low for comparative companies.
