Excellent project management (PMO) department leadership. Union protection after 1 year of service. Eligible for student loan forgiveness. NYC pension.

Cons

Terrible management who bad mouthed other departments (Quality, Project Management, Customer Service) openly to reports. Very political, perception oriented, non-data driven environment. Heavy top-down management with little autonomy to work independently with peers on projects. Perception of effort (personality) rewarded over solid outcomes.

City/Municipal employees. Guaranteed a monthly pension at age 57.

Cons

Nepotism and favoritism is alive and well at this company. I am reminded of how knowledgeable and resourceful I am, but am only good for training staff to be promoted over me.
