Profoundly dysfunctional workplace. Typical govt where promotions go to those favored with no regard to talent, accomplishment, skills. Rife with cronyism, favoritism, misogyny and discrimination. Anyone below top 10-20 managers are fodder and expendable. If you excel or show real talent, you are a threat, and will be leveraged out. (Lookup mobbing on wikipedia. ) HR practices abysmal as evidenced by extraordinary high turnover in business departments and many settled employee lawsuits eeoc actions over last decade. If you know someone and can get in at the top go, otherwise this is where talented peoples careers go to die.
