They can refund some money if you do a Master degree. Vacation paid. You can opt to have a salary in 10 or 12 months, You can get Florida retirement plan.

Cons. Teachers’ salary is terrible The administrators treat teachers in a childish and unprofessional manner; they do not support teachers in any sense of the word. The students get away with a lot of disciplinary infractions. The administrators believe all the lies students tell about teachers. Many schools are closing now so teachers are losing jobs. Overall, the county hires rude and incompetent people. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it at ALL COSTS. For those of you wishing to transition from charter to public. Avoid teaching at MDCPS, I made that mistake and regret it.
