      Pros

      Working at michaels was great! I love crafting so it was a great place for me. I picked up lots of new hobbies and ideas

      Cons

      Working at michaels involved doing truck shifts at 3:00 am once a week and also hauling a lot of boxes. This was the worst part of the job. Stock etc. Though I must say....in the end when I got good at it, it just came to me naturally and I didnt have to think twice about anything.

      Pros

      - discount - hours are flexible - you get paid vacation hours which is great because most part time jobs don't. and if not used by the end of the year you get a payout

      Cons

      - management team is unorganised and lacks communication in every way - there is so much favouritism in my store at least between the 4 store managers we've had - any issues with the online scheduling system never gets resolved - training is sorely lacking for new employees and new managers - managers expect you to bend over backwards to meet the standards given from corporate but won't give you over 6 hours a shift - you can get taken shifts away from you for not kissing up to managers
